In the event of fire, people have only a few minutes to escape, because just three breaths of highly toxic fire smoke can be fatal. The European fire classification takes into account not only flammability but also smoke density and the formation of burning droplets when assessing the fire behaviour of building materials.
ArmaFlex Ultima is based on Armacell's patented ArmaPrene® technology and is the first flexible technical insulation material to achieve fire class BL-s1, d0. It has 10 times less smoke development than conventional flexible elastomeric foam insulation.
